Specifically conceived for long grain works, the reduced diameter provides a good control even if it tends to get clogged. Is recommended to experienced woodturners.
Art. 4224 offers an excellent control during the side working of the bowl.
The inclined edge improves the cutting of the woody fibre and the smoothness of the movement. It cannot be turned to work the bottom. It can be used both on straight and on jointed shanks.
