It consists of a device for fastening the gouge with a tiltable support, that must
be inserted in the spherical pivot of the tool rest. Once you have fastened the gouge and set the angle, lightly touch the grinding wheel with the tool to start the sharpening operation. The spherical pivot has a 16mm diameter so that it can be assembled on the support (art.4049). It is also possible to assemble it to small wood lathes. For bigger lathes, you will need an adaptor.
