These metallic stains are a true stain rather than a gilt cream. They can be used alone, over the spectrum stains and over ebonizing lacquer to achieve a subtle metallic sheen. After application the wood should be sealed with either acrylic or cellulose sanding sealer.

MIXING A:B: BY WEIGHT 100: 100/ BY VOLUME 100: 75

Vacuseal it’s a thermosetting resin used to stabilize and harden wood and all porous materials, low viscosity, and doesn’t require to be mixed with other products. It can be colored using Kolor P.

 HOW TO USE IT :

Place the selected piece of wood clean and dry in a vacuum chamber, pour resin on it making sure the piece absorbs completely it (at least a 25mm layer) and depressurize (-0.9 bar) till there aren’t any more bubbles.

Interrupt the depressurization and leave the piece inside the chamber for at least twice the time the depressurization was active.

Before proceeding into the next step wait at least for two hours.

Remove the piece from the chamber, wrap it with aluminum foil and then bake it at 90°C from 5 minutes (for little pieces with slight thicknesses resin layers) to one hour (or more) in case of bigger pieces with considerable resin quantities.

Since the wood piece is soaked in resin, the baking time and the high temperature won’t damage in any way the wood.

When the cooking is ended remove the aluminum foil and leave the piece cooling down at room temperature.

The excess resin can be reused when stored in a container placed in a dark and cold place, better if refrigerated.

ATTENTION! After that has been baked in the oven, leave the piece cooling down at room temperature in an airtight container. This passage is necessary because the wood piece, hot and dry after the baking, will start collecting humidity as soon as it will start cooling down. Don’t stabilize hot wood pieces otherwise, premature polymerization will start.

Validity from opening: 8-12 months.

Ebonizit is a fast alcool-based black enamel, designed to cover most of the wood and give them a classic ebony look.

Apply thin layers and have a drying time to the touch of 20-30 minutes; total drying in 24 hours.

How to use:

The wood must be sanded not too finely, max 240 G, and can be treated with Legnoseal, or without treatment.

Apply by brush or tampon without rubbing too much.

Once dry ( about 24 hours, depending on temperature and humidity), you can polish it with Polishing Oil (lavender perfume), without rubbing too much.

Aquares is a high transparent and fast dry epoxidic resin, safe and approved for food contact.

This resin contains UV stabilizers and it’s used as an artistic finishing, like for example mosaics, photography, tables, woodturning and more.

TIPS FOR USING: If you project contains some unsupported parts, it will be necessary to create a containment for it, to avoid leakage.

For containment/mold materials like silicone, polypropylene and polyethylene or use adhesive paper to plug tiny cracks in little woodturning items, this to make sure resin won’t stick to them definitively.

If you choose to use a material different from the ones mentioned before, please use a release agent.

It can be used also with pigments and colored liquids, opacity/transparency depends by different factors, more common: pigments type or mixing with resin.

AQUARES can be used as finish, if poured on the item totality. If a natural look is desired (to get a look like no resin was poured) smooth finishing resin then polish it.

WAY TO USE:

• For a GLOSSY finish: First,the surface doesn’t need to be completely smooth or flat, but In case it is, the quantity of resin needed will be less. Smooth the entire surface, including parts where may the resin wa already poured (even different one from Aquares), even if resin will look damaged after this passage, when AQUARES will be poured scratches will completely disappear. Aquares layer should be at least 2mm.​
• For a NATURAL finish: Smooth the item’s entire wood and resin surface, starting with abrasive paper,from thicker grain to the finest when you’re almost at the desired point.

We suggest you to start using a 120,240,400,800 and end with a 1200 type.

In you prefer that your artwork wood pieces have a natural finishing look, in contrast with the resin glossy part, you should sand the wood part and finish it with a wax or another finishing product that you like.

MIXING Resin: hardener 100:50

Complete drying time: 24 hours

Working malleability: 20-30 minutes

A fast-drying universal sealer, this is a perfect base for melamine lacquer, friction polish, carnauba wax and many other finishes. It can be used unthinned, although better results are achieved on larger objects if the sealer is thinned to improve coverage.
