The electric carving machine SEM 612 has been designed for carving, for restoration works as well as for finishing statues, artistic objects and furniture, because of its robustness and its reduced vibrations.

 

The motor is driven by a foot pedal rheostat with 5 speeds ranging from 6.000 to 12.000 RPM. You can easily adjust the speed according to need.
It carves from 6.000 to 12.000 strokes per minute and is fitted with a 1.700 mm long flexible shaft. Its stainless steel sheath, reinforced with a wear-resistant steel substrate, with a high speed steel inner part. You can easily take the carving unit off and insert a rotating handle, which is standard equipped with a 6 mm collet. Further collets of diameter ø 2,35 - ø3 - 3,2, ø4 mm are available on request. We suggest you to use quite big rotating files at a speed of 10.000 RPM, because small diameters would require a still higher speed.
220V monophase motor, with an effective power output of 450W. Characterists of the flexible shaft: 1.700 mm long, supplied with a 6 mm spring collet (spring collet of 2,35 – 3 – 3,2 and 4 mm diameter are available on request, see page 5).
Big advantage! This machine is used with the same gouges of pneumatic chisel “DAN 96”, but remember that on the electric carving machine you can use gouges up to a max. size of 12 mm.
