The SC4 is perfect for the demanding woodturner, being capable of holding large work pieces yet possessing the precision and compactness to handle more delicate work. This model features an enclosed back with full indexing plate and has pinions driven by a long ball ended hex key to make access easy, even when large work pieces are mounted.
This chuck is an insert model (the relevant choice of insert is included in the price) which means it is easily future proofed against upgrades and can be used on multiple lathes, even if they have different spindle threads (additional optional inserts required).
Supplied complete with the deep wood screw, 50 mm standard jaws,Ø 2 faceplate and insert to suit virtually any lathe (including M33 x 3.5) this package offers professional performance at an exceptionally affordable price.

This set is ideal for miniature turning and to grip workpieces internally without excessive damage or marking.
New pin jaws have been improved by squaring the external shoulder to allow workpieces to properly register against the back of the jaws. This is ideal for use in expansion, to grip tubes in work pieces such as pepper or salt grinders. We have also reduced the internal diameter to 9 mm, making it ideal for making finials or lace bobbins - Thereby increasing its versatility.

Specially designed to provide a strong grip both in the contracting (gripping round or square spigots) and in the expanding mode with up to 10è long workpiece.
Ideal for long, unsupported hollow boxes and vases.
Their serrated tooth form makes for a very powerful grip that just won't let go.
45 mm spigot jaw set can handle spigots up to 60 mm and minimum down to 30 mm.

These jaws perform many of the same tasks in expansion and the extra screw hole profiles and added teeth to the outside provide tremendous grip for when this area will not be visible in the finished workpiece. This set has been given a 13 mm internal diameter, making it ideal for turning strong spigots on knobs and handles, again adding to their versatility.
